TA Network Purposes:
Regional TA Network teams are intended to provide free, ongoing, and embedded continuous improvement supports to districts and schools with level 2 and, in some cases, level 3 ESSA and/or IDEA identifications. These supports are intended to increase their selection, implementation, and sustained use of effective evidence-based practices for purposes of closing opportunity gaps for students who are most unreached, especially for learners of color and learners with IEPs. Further, those supports are aligned to DPI’s updated improvement monitoring requirements and best practices within WI’s CIP Criteria and Rubric.
Benefits include: In a case study conducted by the WI Evaluation Collaborative, federally identified districts reported the following advantages of engaging with their TA Network for continuous improvement supports:
-
Professional development opportunities
-
Assistance with evaluating systems
-
Regular progress check-ins
-
In-person discussions to review federal regulations
-
Development of continuous improvement and action plans
-
Networking with other districts
-
On-site assistance with root case analysis
-
Facilitation of leadership team meetings
